Lucy Harmon, a beautiful 19-year old American girl, is the daughter of well-known poet and model Sara Harmon. After mother's suicide, Lucy heads for Italy to spend summer in the family friends' Tuscan villa. She wants to reunite with Nicolo, the boy she fell in love with four years ago and corresponded with for a while. One more and, maybe, the main purpose of this journey is to unravel a mystery of her mother's diary and find out who her father is.
